CT and MR imaging features of mixed neuroendocrine–non-neuroendocrine neoplasm of the pancreas compared with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma and neuroendocrine tumor

Abstract

Key points Mixed neuroendocrine–non-neuroendocrine neoplasm is a rare pancreatic tumor (0.2%). Pancreatic MiNEN mainly presents as a relatively large heterogeneous mass invading adjacent organs in half of the cases. Ill-defined irregular margin and moderate enhancement are significant predictors.
