Discuss images. On Regina Gibaja's critical thinking
Abstract
This article synthesizes a first advance of formal research on Regina Elena Gibaja's critical work on the my-thologies of ‘the feminine’ and the processes of construction and justification of the image of women in the Argentine cultural context of the twentieth century in the light of a Marxist-existentialist matrix approach. It thus presents a reading of the intellectual and institutional project developed by Gibaja from his beginnings and formation in the group of the journals Contorno and Centro to his later academic and institutional inser-tion in the field of Latin American applied sociological research. Within this framework, it seeks especially to illuminate the political and intellectual work of an author generally excluded from the recognition tradition-ally attributed to the "men" of the so-called “generation of '55”.
