Experimental Moral Philosophy aims to bring arguments to philosophical debate by developing the use of experimental methods derived from psychology. The purpose of this article is first to give an overview of these developments, second to analyze different types of difficulties related to the process of experimentation in moral philosophy and to its normative dimension, and third to note them down in the perspective of natural science experimentation.
