O impacto da Independência do Brasil em Angola: A tentativa de anexação de Angola ao Império do Brasil (1823-1825)

Abstract

This article focuses on relations between Brazil and Angola between 1648 and 1822. It therefore concentrates more on justifying Angola's strong dependence on Brazil, emphasising the repercussions of this independence, especially in the Benguela region, which was the scene of diplomatic-military disputes between the Kingdom of Portugal and the Empire of Brazil.
