For an environmental crime Sociology: steps towards a construction of a research agenda

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the environmental crime theme under the perspective in which that kind of crime, like others, is a “social construction”. It intends to pose a research agenda to comprehend how some actions and patterns of behavior regarding what is considered environment are “criminalized” and likewise understand by which processes the action agents start to be considered criminals.
