Dialectique de la parole et du silence
Abstract
This article examines the conditions of emergence of the sexist affront in politics as they are described by women politicians themselves, in a corpus which is composed of works in which they take the floor. It is more specifically interested in the ways that this emergence of verbal violence organizes a dialectic of speech and silence : whether the silence is imposed or what they are met with, or whether they are represented in silent scenes, according to those concerned, it is indeed a way of completely denying their claim to legitimate political speech. It is in this context that the repetition of the assault takes on its’ full meaning.
