Amphores africaines provenant du dépotoir portuaire de Port-la-Nautique (fin i er av. - i er s. apr. J.-C.)
Abstract
The Port-la-Nautique site in Narbonne has yielded an important amphorae assemblage dated between 30 BC and AD 70, discovered during underwater excavations. The greater part of the amphorae originated from northeastern and southern Spain, but a small group of containers were identified as African products. Petrographical analysis carried out on less than ten elements showed that the African imports came from several zones of North Africa.
