ObjectiveTo discuss the rehabilitation treatment methods and matters needing attention of one patient two years after replantation of ankle amputation, the rehabilitation evaluation and treatment were studied.MethodsAdopt comprehensive rehabilitation therapy methods such as joint mobility training, functional training, physical agents and so on. The changes from baseline to end-of-intervention were evaluated respectively by measuring ankle ROM, the score of BBS, NRS and the limb circumference.ResultsAfter 3 weeks of treatment, the range of ankle dorsiflexion and plantar flexion, balance function, aching feeling while walking and the strength of lower limb were significantly improved.ConclusionFor ankle amputation patients after replantation surgery, comprehensive rehabilitation therapy can significantly improve their function even in the period after surgery. However, rehabilitation training should be gradual, exercise intensity should be controlled according to objective standards, personalized and accurate rehabilitation treatment plans should be formulated in accordance with different surgical results.
