Abstract

This article analyses the judgment of the Court of Justice of the EU in the 'Tjebbes' case, which is an important case on nationality matters under EU law and has a clear link with the landmark case of 'Rottmann'. As this article demonstrates, the Court confirms the applicability of EU law in nationality matters and elaborates on the nature of this influence.
