Mulheres quilombolas da Amazônia e ação política: uma revisão de literatura

Abstract

This work analyzes the political action/collective organization of quilombola women in the Amazon region, in the struggle for the recognition of their territories and traditional ways of life. As a methodological procedure, Bardin's content analysis was used to analyze the literature found. As a result, it was observed that quilombola women in the Amazon region play several fundamental roles for the quilombola community, and mainly, play leading roles in the struggle for quilombola rights and recognition, organizing themselves collectively in associations, collectives and other common spaces.
