Cartilaginous choristoma of the tongue
Abstract
The term choristoma describes the growth of normal tissue in an abnormal location (Barnes et al., 2005) [1]Cartilaginous Choristoma is the proliferation of cartilaginous tissue in Choristoma.Here we report a two-year-old girl child who presented with hard swelling on the tongue.The child was investigated, and complete excision was done. The excised specimen was sent for histopathology, which reported as cartilaginous Choristoma of the tongue.
