The relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Effective Leadership among the Managers of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army staff
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and its factors as an independent variable and effective leadership of managers of Nezaja headquarters as a dependent variable. This research is applied and its method has been descriptive-correlation and collection of library and field information and tools for data collection, documents, interviews and questionnaires.The statistical population of this study was determined by the managers of Nezaja headquarters and its sample size was 91 using Cochran's formula. In this study, the standard Siberian Schering questionnaire was used to measure emotional intelligence, the structural validity of which was significant at p = 0.001, and its content validity was 0.88 and its reliability coefficient was 0.86. Assessing the function variable, the researcher-made questionnaire of effective leadership was used, and its content validity was 0.86 and Cronbach's alpha coefficient was 0.88. The findings and general results of this study have shown that among the factors of emotional intelligence as independent variables of the component (self-awareness = r = 0.448, self-regulation = r = 0.582, self-stimulation = r = 0.527, empathy is also 0.477 r and also The factor of social relations with correlation of r = 0.642 with the effective leadership of the managers of Nezaja headquarters at the error level (p = 0.05) there was a positive and significant relationship and also emotional intelligence with the variable of effective leadership (r = 0.728) at the level. The error of 0.05 is positive and significant
