Highlights Critical issues including mechanical stability, water and oxygen resistance, transparent electrodes for flexible perovskite solar cells are discussed. Roll-to-Roll technology presents a promising avenue for fabrication of flexible perovskite solar cells fabricated for large-scale commercial application. Balancing the transmittance and conductivity of transparent electrodes has become a significant issue in developing efficient flexible perovskite solar cells.
