CONSOLIDATION OF MUNICIPALITIES AS A WAY OF LEVELLING

Abstract

The topicality of the research is determined by the low level of financial security of the majority of rural settlementsmunicipalities, as well as the existing tendencies of local government development in the Russian Federation. The article considers the problems of leveling budget provisions of municipal formations of rural settlements. The author sees a way to solve the existing problems in bigger municipalities, which will allow to adjustthe process of redistribution of income from the municipalities with a high level of budgetary sufficiency to support those with low incomes.
