Solar grade silicon obtaining with application of solar heating
Abstract
Silicon, obtained as a raw material is a subject to the subsequent processing by direc- tional crystallization, Cz-growth or casting method. These processes require significant energy consumption. The objective of this paper is an investigation of the non-conventional method of Solar Grade Silicon (SOG-Si) crystallization and purification with application of solar energy and consideration its further development.
