Recently, triboelectric energy harvesting technology has attracted the attention of researchers all over the world. And it is significant to promote the development of energy technology in the new era. Therefore, we proposed a novel package sliding hybrid triboelectric-electromagnetic nanogenerator with staggered electrodes (SHTE-NG) to harvest mechanical energy and sense human motion posture. The conductive magnet firstly acts as the triboelectric material. Compared to the dielectric sliding parts, the sliding TENG with a conductive magnet can obtain a higher electrical output. According to the results, the combination of triboelectric part and electromagnetic part achieves the improvement of energy harvesting. Some small electronic devices, such as electronic watches and temperature/humidity sensors, can be powered by the SHTE-NG. Also, the triboelectric part of SHTE-NG can serve as the self-powered human motion posture according to the electrical output signal. This research realizes the integration of the TENG device and electromagnetic nanogenerator (EMG) device, which will promote the development of new energy harvesting devices.
