The usage of poetic mimesis in the openings of Platonic dialogues
Abstract
Starting from the idea that the opening of a work plays a significant role in the economy of its composition, this article presents an analysis of the openings of the Platonic dialogues, putting in evidence the usage of the dramatic mimesis. This work highlights the mimetic character of such texts, indicates the position of the author in relation to his work, and points out the construction of the one who will be able to read the dialogues.
