3D Modeling Method and Strength Analysis of ZC<sub>1</sub> Worm
Abstract
Based on the activity price method and the space engagement theory,the forming process of the ZC. 1 grinding wheel and the mathematical model of the worm pair are researched. Based on the numerical analysis method and finite element method,the 3D solid model of worm pair is completed by Solid Works and MATLAB,and the finite element model is established in ANSYS. Through the data processing of finite element calculation results,the load distribution among gear teeth,the distribution of the contact stress along the direction of the worm gear tooth and the comparison between the results of the finite element method and the empirical strength formula are analyzed. Considering the installation error of worm gears contact impact force and contact line and that priority should be given to reduce the shaft angle error. The research conclusions provide the theoretical basis for the three-dimensional modeling and strength analysis of ZC1 worm drive.
