Today’s competitive environment has created a lot of interest toward organizational dynamics and production flexibility. However, despite knowing the potential benefits of these two concepts, practitioners and researchers do not have a good understanding of the relationship between them. As such, the present paper seeks to understand these complex concepts and the way they influence each other. In this research, the textual content analysis method was used for fully understanding the components of organizational dynamics and production flexibility along with investigating previous studies; next, the authorities of the field were consulted for adding to the richness of the method. Finally, 6 organizational dynamic abilities and 14 production flexibility aspects were extracted from previous studies. Next, the influence of these components on one another was measured using the fuzzy dematel method and the views of the authorities of the field. Results of the analysis indicate that the most influential organizational dynamics abilities are: creating and integrating knowledge, understanding and reconfiguring opportunities and managing threats; meanwhile, the most impressible aspects of production flexibility are: new products, operations, and production. In addition, results of the analysis indicate the large influence of organizational dynamic capabilities on the aspects of production flexibility.
