Examining and understanding the Quranic indications on the desirability of creating a religious civilization
Abstract
Civilization is the best manifestation of desirable human social life. Meanwhile, building a civilization based on religious and monotheistic ideology is the intellectual desire and practical program of Islamic civilization. The Qur'an's response to the desirability of religious civilization and the need to establish it plays a vital role in strengthening the ideological foundations of the religion-oriented civilization theory. Therefore, the problem is to understand the civilizational approaches of the Holy Quran on creating a monotheistic civilization. The present research is designed with the aim of understanding the implications of the Holy Quran on the confirmation of the need to create a religious civilization, with three time statements: past, present and future - in the eyes of the Quran. This article has investigated and understood the Qur'anic reasons for the desirability of monotheistic civilization with a descriptive and analytical method. The answer to this question from the Qur'an, considering the past situation, indicates a supportive state, and in the present situation, encourages progress towards a civilizational state, and looking at the future state, it shows the drawing of a comprehensive and unparalleled civilizational horizon. In more clear terms, the Quran's response to the civilization of contemporary scholars; First, in looking back, it is to present data that can be an empirical support for the formation of monotheistic civilizations and second, in the current context of the society, it continuously encourages the Islamic society to upgrade to the propositions and components of civilization and third, in the upcoming state, it outlines the future of civilization for Muslims all over the world and makes them hopeful and determined to achieve this great ideal and promise.
