The influence of eXtended reality 3D visualization knowledge on future engineers’ technical competencies
Abstract
Abstract The rapid expansion of new technologies necessitates the adaptation of educational programs to meet the evolving demands of the labor market. This study focuses on students in technical fields, investigating their understanding of XR 3D visualization and proposing a unified training approach to improve both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The research also evaluates how this training influences students’ attitudes towards XR technologies in various applications. Key findings reveal significant improvements in technical competencies and a more positive perception of XR technologies after the training. These results suggest that targeted XR education can better prepare students for the technological challenges in their respective industries.
