Thyrotoxicosis syndrome: new clinical opportunities for the correction of thyroid dysfunction

Abstract

The article deals with the analysis of the literature on the study of the spectrum of therapeutic properties of Potentilla alba preparation, supplemented with selenium and zinc, which is prescribed in addition to standard management of patients with thyroid hyperfunction. Drug is used alone in subclinical thyrotoxicosis degree I, as well as in achieving stable compensation of diffuse toxic goiter; and as a part of comprehensive therapy — in subclinical thyrotoxicosis degree II, diffuse toxic goiter for normalization of T4 and T3 content in the blood.
