The article analyzes the presence of the Philosophy in the plans of study for the teachers’ formation in Spain, from 1914 (“Plan Bergamin”) up to the LOGSE (1990). The proposal is to examine the paper of the philosophical foundation in the formative conception of the future teachers, as well as the changes and incidents of the matter in every stage. Consulted documentation contributes specific information about the situation of the philosophical thought in the teachers’ training, in the frame of the historical evolution of the Normal schools.
