Belt and Road Initiative: The strategic relationship between Algeria and China at the time of epidemics

Abstract

This study aims to highlight the strategic cooperation between Algeria and China within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). The study also attempts to explore the relationship between the two countries and how they reacted at the time of the pandemic. The practical aspect of the study showed the comprehensive cooperation in many sectors, The study concluded that the Belt and Road Initiative(BRI) has become a soft power for Chinese foreign policy. besides, Algerian government joined to the BRI initiative , and welcomed the its processes as successful strategic option.
