SPEECH OF THE RELATION BETWEEN THEORY AND PRACTICE IN THE PORTUGUESE TEACHER FORMATION

Abstract

This study aims to analyze meaning effects arising from Language and Literature students’ discourse on the relationship between theory and practice. Our hypothesis is that the training of prospective teachers is discursively signified and their professional identity is provisionally constructed. The privileged space to explicit such a relationship is internship, where meanings learned in college meet knowledge practiced in real teaching.
