How did Czech schools fight for secularity of the Polish State, or, The Internet as a discourse space
Abstract
The paper presents a discourse analysis of a press release which was published in several different versions on the internet edition of the Polish daily newspaper "Gazeta Wyborcza". The first part of the paper analyzes the influence of publishing the news release in the internet environment that leads to the question of the durability of genetic taxonomies of press texts when they become the part of internet communication. In the second part the application of the discourse analysis enables to extend the traditional perspective of the text and text grammar that makes it adequate for describing chaotic forms of communication that are typical for the internet environment.
