The purpose of this research was to investigate handwriting skills of Turkishstudents studying in the Germany elementary school (Grundschule). Participantswere 42 third and fourth grade Turkish students in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg.The data were collected through Writing Observation Protocol, and copying anddictating instruments. Additionally, most of the students preferred cursive, so much manuscript and a few mixed writing styles. It was also evidenced that most commonwriting errors were related to spelling and punctuation.
