Soledad Acosta de Samper and Emilia Pardo Bazán: Two Feminist Pioneers

Abstract

Two paths of female writer are here compared, the Colombian Soledad Acosta de Samper and the Spanish Emilia Pardo Bazán, both contemporary and both supporters of intellectual and social self-sufficiency of women with respect to men as well as its potential value to contribute to national regeneration.
