TRENDS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF PRODUCTION OF DENTAL SERVICES IN RUSSIA AFTER THE 2009 CRISIS

Abstract

The article analyzes the development trend of dental practice in Russia in the period during and after the crisis of 2008-2009. Show the position of dentistry in the provision of health services, are given the comparative characteristics of production efficiency of health services in general and dental services. Production services in dentistry in the period under consideration was unstable and fell in 2013 relative to 2008 levels. It is shown that a higher level of productivity in dentistry compared toeconomic activity «Health and social services» as a whole caused by the higher proportion of efficient private sector in dentistry in comparison with the health and social services in general.
