Typology of agriculture in conditions of transitional crisis: The case of the Belgrade region
Abstract
According to David Grigg (1986), total agricultural production is not only the sum of the production value, but sum of mutual relations, phenomena and processes. That is why agricultural production can be understood as a complex or system of continuous processes. In this study of typology of agriculture, beside total production which is presented on the basis of 32 basic indicators reduced to the reference value, are analyzed the structure and productivity of production, agricultural potential and market orientation. This paper presents an attempt of exact overview of the impact of transitional crisis on the agriculture of the Belgrade region in the period from 1991 to 2002.
