БЛАГОДІЙНИЦТВО ЯК СПОСІБ ЖИТТЯ БАРОНА ФЕДОРА ШТЕЙНГЕЛЯ

Abstract

The article is dedicated to the philanthropy activity of Fedir Rudolfovych Schteinhel, a member of Ukrainian branch of Schteinhel family. The major attention paid to the charity in Shteynhel’s manor situated in the village Horodok of Rivne region, such as: establishment of two-grade school and St. Boris hospital as well as foundation of one of the first local history museum of Volyn. The charity work that went beyond the borders of Horodok was also investigated. The author gave brief information about Russian-Ukrainian branch of Schteinhel family.
