Bosnia and Herzegovina: problems and progress in the return process

Abstract

More than half of the population of Bosnia and Herzegovina was displaced by the conflict that ravaged the country from 1992 to 1995. Only 15 per cent have so far returned to their places of origin. The efforts of the international community are increasingly focused on measures helping the return process.
