Dış Ticaretimizde Türk Cumhuriyetlerinin Yeri ve Önemi(The Place and Importance of Turkic Republics in Turkey’s Foreign Trade)

Abstract

Not much improvement has been seen in Turkic Republics in old SSRC, after their independency. This is because these Republics have lack of export capacity in many sectors. In addition, defective and/or indecent goods that exported by Turkey to these countries during the early years of their independency negatively affected the volume of trade among them. This research gives a historical perspective of trade between Turkey and the Turkic Republics at first. Then, the distribution of Turkish exports and imports to these countries are analyzed in the context of time series approach. The last chapter of the study discusses the suggestions about how to improve partnership relations among the mentioned countries.
