Need and importance of Principles of Jurisprudence in extraction of Sharia injunctions

Abstract

All science, knowledge beneficial for human beings and there is nothing useless either worldly knowledge or religious. Religious knowledge is considered more important because the success of people is linked in the world as well in hereafter with it. Shariah teaches us ways of life. Laws of Quran and Hadith are limited and the problems of the world are unlimited. In the light of Quran and Hadith solutions of the problems could be understood by the Islamic Fiqah and by the principles of Fiqah. Faqih (Legal Islamic Expert) follows the principles of Islamic Fiqah and in the guidance of it he elicit the problems. Without his counselling from principles of Islamic jurisprudence it is impossible ہ. Currently there are lots of modern challenges created in Islamic societies which were rare in ancient days and to know the solution of those challenges discretion (Ijtehad) has become very important and for Mujtahid, it is necessary to have great knowledge of Fiqah (Islamic jurisprudence)
