Boarding school is an educational institution that developed earlier than the formal educational institutions which were introduced when the era of colonialism. Therefore, the Boarding school education system branded as indigenous Indonesian educational institution that is different from the pattern of education in any country. Until now, schools still exist in the development of science and technology is quite rapid adaptation to suit the demands of the times. In fact, schools have been elaborated in the curriculum when the school system has entered Boarding school madrasah. This is where the encounter between the schools and the school curriculum, the knowledge of religion and science in general. The existence of such an encounter would give birth to a new dynamic that should be studied in order to learn more about the concept of integration in practice in schools. This literature review using the perspective of integration and interconnection Amin Abdullah as a theoretical basis to see the dynamics of the integration of schools and schools in contemporary education in Indonesia. This study found that the integration of scientific effort that occurred in boarding schools still only institutional integration. Because in practice, religious knowledge possessed by the students are not integrated in the school curriculum in schools, but additional curriculum that characterizes schools. Therefore, the dynamics of the integration of schools and school are still experiencing problems in an effort to interconnect each discipline so that required further studies to be able to bridge.
