Representing and designing architectures in the digital era
Abstract
This article intends to explain that the different means of representation in architecture and planning, by hand, videos, renders, etc. have not only diverse technical qualities but also a different redescriptive power of the reality they represent. According to the dialogical theories by Mikhail Bakhtin and more recently by Alva Noe, these powers should be analyzed in each case and as a result of these analyses the experience and the learning processes involved can change. We will analyze some examples of these feedback processes.
