FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS AND APPLICATION ON METAL TRUSS OF SHIP ESCALATOR
Abstract
In order to ensure the safety of ship escalator,the force on metal truss were investigated when ship escalator running process is affected by the ship’s static,roll,pitch and heave. The truss stress and deformation are obtained by taking static analysis on metal truss with software ANSYS. The results shows weak part of metal and it is improved to meet standard requirements.
