UN DECENIU ŞI JUMĂTATE DE LA ÎNFIINŢAREA SOCIETĂŢII PENTRU AGRICULTURĂ ECOLOGICĂ

Abstract

Society for Ecological Agriculture has set up at the initiative of some professors from University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj-Napoca, in collaboration with researchers from institutions and agricultural research stations from its area of influence: SCDA Turda, SCDPP Cluj-Napoca, SCDPP Bistriţa, INCDCS Braşov, SCDVV Blaj, SCDPCB Târgu Mureş, SCDA Livada, SCDA Oradea. The meeting for establish was in Cluj-Napoca in date of the 3rd September 1993, in the presence of foundators members. The main objective of Society of Ecological Agriculture is to showing up and to sustain the main principles of ecological agriculture and promoting, in our country’s agricultural practice, the rational technological measures, that assure a good productivity, but without pollution. Society of Ecological Agriculture has, as main activity directions: to promote in specialized agricultural education the principles and component elements of ecological agriculture (through including of those in educational plans and analytical programs; editing couses and manuals of ecology and environment protection); to develop research with ecological themes and to promote a sustainable agriculture in our country; to initiate some actions regarding organization, on ecological principles, of some agricultural production exploitations.
