The world energy transition has broadened renewable energy megaprojects. In Mexico, their boost has generated socio-environmental conflicts. Latin American political ecology approach explores the conflicts on the territory, and identifies the construction of knowledge and the co-constitution of natures by biophysical, cultural, economic and social aspects in the processes of organized resistance. The cases analyzed under this approach are located in the Yucatan peninsula.
