Every era or period of time has something that distinguishes it from others, and distinction is not limited to one aspect in a nation, but distinction may exceed many aspects of one civilization, and many social phenomena have spread in past times, as social life at that time It is replete with dozens of phenomena that deserve study and documentation, and among these phenomena are diabolical, which are considered the most distinguished, as they are the result of political and economic conditions, as the Abbasid era witnessed many political fluctuations represented in the weakness of its successors, the control of the Turks and Persians on the reins of government in the country, and the division of the Islamic countries into separate states. This, in turn, was reflected in the economic conditions, as this sect emerged, which took trickery, deceit, and cunning as its motto. The spread of begging had several factors, including the political factor and the resulting internal and external wars. The political factor also resulted in economic corruption related to the squandering of wealth and its misdistribution. The effect of religious teachings that were interpreted in favor of the Makdi was not less, and it was exploited more than it should be to serve his goal in begging for the impact of the previous two factors. , as well as other factors separate from distorted convictions that spread among people as a result of lack of values and imbalances. The purpose of this research is not to stand on the credibility of the beggars, some groups in society and because of political and economic conditions have actually been forced to beg because there is no one to support them and some individuals and because of the much money they have taken some means, this research looks at the origin of this phenomenon And its impact, but according to the opinion of the humble researcher, the first nucleus of the emergence of the caddy is the actual need for money, and it developed little by little, so it was taken as a profession by some individuals because it does not cost them anything but asking for money without hard effort.
