This study discusses the pattern of keroncong musical instruments and the tenor and its application to the songs performed. This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach. Based on the results of a keroncong musical instrument and tenor at the Keroncong Orchestra Irama Jakarta, it was found the origin of the term keroncong musical instrument originated from the sound of the instrument itself and for tenor musical instruments taken from the highest male voice term. Also found is the technique of playing keroncong and tenor instruments, namely the technique of rasguaedo (prung), strumming, arpeggio and by picking one by one on each string. The technique of playing the keroncong instrument and the tenor is a game pattern, namely the double ankle game pattern, double back, old format and style. The four patterns of the game are played depending on the song to be performed and the agreement of the personnel.
