Abstract

The title compound, C18H16Cl2N4O2S2, consists of two benzoylthioureido groups connected by an ethylene group. The asymmetric unit consists of one half of the molecule which lies about an inversion center. Both thiourea moieties maintain their trans geometry. The structure is stabilized by intermolecular N—H...S hydrogen bonds that form chains along the b-axis direction.
