Pengaruh Program Pendidikan Akta Mengajar IV terhadap Sikap Profesional Guru Agama Katholik
Abstract
This quasi-experimental research was aimed at describing professional attitudes of religion teachers and to test the influences of Teacher Certification IV Program on professional attitudes of the religion teachers in terms of their differences in teaching experience and their job status. The subjects were 64 religion teachers of SLTP, SMU, and SMK in Irian Jaya. The instruments for gathering data were checklists and attitude scale. Mean, standard deviation, and F-test were applied to analyse the data. The results revealed that teachers' attitudes were positive. Teacher Certification IV Program influenced teachers' attitudes toward their professionalism. There was a significant correlation between teaching experience and teachers' professional attitudes in terms of their job status.
