Every scientific research, of any complexity, is based on experimental researches. This researches must be done in accordance with the methods of mathematical statistics. These methods can differ based on the number of the influence factors on the studied process. Since not all researchers have direct access to specialized programs for processing experimental data, or these programs have not been conceived for all the stages of experimental researches, the aim of this paper is to describe a few statistical methods for experimenting with monofactorial processes, and also an application covering all the necessary stages of experimental researches. This first part of the article presents the theoretical base of a applicative program conceived in Delphi.
