The Programa de Aceleración del Aprendizaje is part of the flexible education models promoted by the Ministerio de Educación Nacional from the year 2000 to address the problem of school-age extra-curricula in Colombia. This program was assumed by the Colegio San Francisco IED, an institution where the Nullum Crime Sine Lege research group of the Universidad Nacional and the In Ius Vocatio Seedbed of the Universidad La Gran Colombia developed the project “Pedagogía y Paz”, in which an analysis of the program was carried out. The present article aims to present the Programa de Aceleración del Aprendizaje not only as a model that arises with the aim of promoting inclusion, but also as a project that contributes significantly to the execution of a culture of peace, pedagogy for peace and education in human rights in educational institutions.
