Redes de alerta alimentaria y su articulación en la estructura territorial del Estado
Abstract
For decades the perverse effects of technological progress applied to food have been setting the approximation of regulations and procedures, and the search for effective mechanisms to fight them. The networks and early warning and surveillance systems are one of the most powerful tools in the hands of administrations for this purpose, contributing to the management of information, key element in this matter. The control functions carried out by the public and private subjects, within the system of food risk analysis and its results, determine the convenience of activating warning networks; which aims, operation and deficiencies are common, regardless of whether its scope is national, European or international.
