IMMUNOTROPIC THERAPY IN THE COMPLEX TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WITH DIABETIC FOOT SYNDROME
Abstract
The results of correction of immune status in patients with pyo-necrotic forms of diabetic foot are presented. It is established that the clinical signs of secondary immune deficiency in patients with pyo-necrotic forms of diabetic foot are accompanied by changes in laboratory immunological parameters: the presence of relative and absolute lymphopenia; reduction in the relative and absolute T-lymphocyte numbers, and of subpopulations of CD4 lymphocytes, as well as levels of phagocytosis. The data presented indicates that inclusion of immunomodulators into the treatment program in patients with pyo-necrotic forms of diabetic foot led to a reduction in treatment time, complications, and to positive changes in the parameters characterizing the state of the immune system.
