General Empowerment Model of Command in the Scene of future wars of the Islamic Republic of Iran
Abstract
The nature of the war is constantly changing, and the pace of this change has grown ever more than ever before, and with time and technology progress the scenes of war become more complex and widespread; these changes require further study of future wars and capabilities to deal with it, especially in the field of command. The purpose of this research is to explain the dimensions and components of the general empowerment model of command in the scene of future wars of the Islamic Republic of Iran. First, using content analysis method, with the study of background and theoretical literature, expert interviews and open coding, the command empowerers were identified at the scene of future wars; by using a researcher-made questionnaire and exploratory factor analysis, the indices of acceptable effect were determined; then the categorization and coding of the indexes were performed using expert opinion. The statistical population of the study consisted of 199 professors and graduates of the National Defense University. The sample number was estimated using Cochran's formula of 85 people. In the end, four main dimensions influencing general empowerment of command in the scene of future wars were presented: strategic analysis (with seven indicators), strategic knowledge and skills (with three indicators), command vision (with three indicators), strategic decision making (with two indicators).
