Polymeric materials are progressively taking the place of ceramic materials in insulators for high voltage transmission as a result of their disadvantages, such as their high weight, weak mechanical strength, and challenging manufacturing processes. In most situations, polymeric insulators are preferable to ceramic insulators, although they can have drawbacks such low operating temperature and toughness. This research's objective was to improve an epoxy composite produced with oyster shell nanoparticles for the production of high insulating electrical insulator for high voltages application. The solution stir-cast process was used to develop the composites. Microstructure, tensile and impact strength, and electrical conductivity were all measured. Electrical conductivity decreased by 99.62%, while tensile strength increased by 96.74 %. The developed composites withstand 12.5 kV. High-strength electrical insulators may be made using this recipe and the composite material developed.
