The research problem consists on the following question: how to structure an information mediation activity to work with fan and fandoms activities in school libraries? This study aimed to present a model to perform fans’ and fandoms’ activities in school libraries. The study had exploratory, qualitative-quantitative and documentary approaches. Content Analysis method was used by applying its thematic content analysis technique. As a result, a model was obtained to perform fans’ and fandoms’ activities in school libraries that focuses on multidisciplinary professional participation (librarians, teachers and other school professionals), reception, criticism, interpretation, activist, cultural production and social activities. It concludes that fan activities can be considered more stimulating for establishing communication with students. However, to put the model into practice it is necessary that librarians get creative/theatrical skills of information mediation. The recognition of the importance of this action by professionals represents a significant step towards the generation of education, culture and knowledge in the information users in the school environment
